EPCOT Festival of the Arts 2024
Disney Parks invited my family to check out all of the offerings at the 2024 EPCOT Festival of the Arts! We were beyond excited to immerse ourselves in a world of creativity and imagination. Over the years the Festival of the Arts has become one of my favorite events at Walt Disney World Resort.
As we arrived at EPCOT, the vibrant atmosphere of the festival immediately enveloped us. From the stunning art displays to the live performances and interactive workshops, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
My favorite moment was watching my little artist participate in the 'Kids Chalk Art'. I love that Disney caters to every age group. She also enjoyed taking pictures with her dad in the various Artful Photo Ops. Her favorite was the "Wish" section. We even had the chance to meet Asha!
One of the highlights for us is always "Paint by Number" mural, where each member of the family had the opportunity to contribute to a massive work of art. It was a wonderful bonding experience and a fantastic way to feel connected to the artistic community at the festival. I can not wait to see the completed mural.
We also indulged in the culinary arts, sampling delectable dishes from the Food Studios located throughout the World Showcase. The creative and beautifully presented food not only satisfied our taste buds but also provided a feast for the eyes. Can you believe that this was my first time trying Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup?! *Don't take my American Card*
I was so tickled by my two year old being fully engaged during the animation academy where we learned how to draw Figment. Her little hands eagerly followed along with the artist's instructions, and her face lit up with joy as she proudly held up her completed drawing. And apparently my husband is an artist? Who knew?!
There's two interactive adventures that will help you explore the tastes and sites of the festival:
A fun way to experience the culinary offerings is by completing the "Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine" where you can collect stamps for each dish you sample. Not only did it add an element of excitement to our culinary adventure, but it also serves as a great keepsake to remember all the delicious bites from the festival. The best part is that you will receive a free treat if you get five menu items from various locations. You can redeem your complimentary Artist Palette Cookie from Deco Delights.
You'll join the Master's Scavenger Hunt at the World Showcase to help Figment explore art. To begin, buy your map and stickers from Creations Shop, Port of Entry, or World Traveler. Then hunt for Figment hidden within artwork inspired by famous pieces in each pavilion—just look for the picture frame with a Figment theme.
Once you spot Figment, place the matching sticker on your map next to the pavilion. When you finish your adventure, return your map to Disney Traders or World Traveler and receive a charming little memento!
We love doing new things during each Disney Trip. So, we finished the night at the Disney on Broadway Concert Series which featured Caissie Levy and Patti Murin, the Original Anna and Elsa from the Broadway production of "Frozen." It was must different from what I expected. I thought it would be like a Sing-A-Long. But the show included show tunes from various shows including "Frozen." It was a great way to end the night!
The day was filled with laughter, exploration, and inspiration, leaving us with unforgettable memories to cherish. The Festival of the Arts truly lived up to its reputation as a celebration of creativity and expression. Can't wait to return next year! Tips for scoring the New Figment Popcorn Bucket:
Open the My Disney Experience app and tap on the "+" button at the bottom of the home screen. Select "Order Food" and then choose EPCOT. Look for “EPCOT Souvenir Release” in the options displayed.
When you start your order, you will find that there's only one choice available -the Figment Premium Popcorn Bucket which is priced at $30.
You can buy a maximum of 2 buckets per order. Review your order summary and proceed to checkout.
Once it's time for your arrival window, click on “I’m here, prepare my order” (this option will appear around when your arrival window starts). After that, head over to Odyssey pavilion to collect your popcorn bucket!
